The Bromsgrove International Musicians’ Competition began in 1981 as an international platform for talented young instrumentalists and singers between the ages of 18 and 25 (28 in the case of singers). Since then many outstanding finalists have found The Bromsgrove a stepping stone to national and international recognition and success.
The 2017 Competition will be held at Bromsgrove School’s Routh Hall from Tuesday 4th April to Saturday 8th April 2017. The first Preliminary Round will be followed by the Semi-Final beginning on Thursday afternoon 6th April and continuing on Friday 7th April. The Finalists’ Concert will take place on Saturday 8th April at 7:00pm.
The Bromsgrove’s existence depends entirely on public generosity. Our major partners are Bromsgrove School and Bromsgrove District Council. Charities, commercial and professional organisations also give generous help. We would welcome your help too.
Tickets for the Finalists’ Concert on Saturday 8th April 2017 at 7 pm will be available online early in January 2017. Make sure a reminder is in your diary to book them early as after recent successful years the demand for seats will be high. They will also be available offline to be sent to you by post at no extra charge
