2015 Competition

The 2015 Competition was held from 15th to 18th April, generously hosted by Bromsgrove School. In the Preliminary Round 54 competitors were auditioned and 14 were selected to play in the Semi-Final on 17th April. The Finalists’ Concert was held at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday 18th April, and the result was as follows:

1st Prize (£5,000) Jamal Aliyev (cello)
2nd Prize (£3,000) Daniel Shao (flute)
3rd Prize (£1,500) Silvija Ščerbavičiūtė (flute)
4th Prize (£500) Matthew Scott (clarinet)
Presidents Prize (£1,000) for the best performance of a work composed since 1950: Richard Moore (voice)

Applications

The 2018 Competition will be held from 3rd to 7th April in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Finalists' Concert will take place on the evening of Saturday, 7th April at 7.00pm.
