What competitors can expect
Competitors should carefully read the Rules to ensure eligibility and to check the dates of the competition.
The Bromsgrove is a unique international music competition. Initial acceptance is via a recording round (see Rules) and those selected to proceed are invited to stay on site, with full board and lodging provided.
1. All competitors accepted into the Competition are allocated times during the first three days for the Preliminary Round.
2. Later in the week, there is a Semi-Final Round for those competitors selected from the Preliminary Round by the Adjudicators.
3. Three competitors will be chosen for the Final Round which takes place before a live audience during the evening of the last day. At the end of that evening, the Chairman of the Adjudicators announces the winner and the prizes are presented.
4. The whole competition takes place in Bromsgrove School’s magnificent Routh Concert Hall.
